May 3, 2007- Wednesday....
Now, I wanted to give this blog a title, but I decided not to....however, if I was going to give it a title, I would call it, "The Violation." Let me preface this by saying that I should have wrote about this earlier and all the events of the day in question because now I have forgotten some of the incidents of that day....
There are so many randomly strange things that I observe or am affected by on the weekly basis, but I neglect to write about them....I always say to the people I'm with, when strange occurrences happen that, "This is definitely blog worthy!" However, if I don't write it down or make a note of it at that moment, it usually becomes a fleeting memory. Anyway, moving on to the violation....
Last week after work, my colleague and I went downstairs to the public square outside of our workplace. Many local artists will sing or play music in this area. That day, there was a band performing, so we decided to watch for a while. As we were watching, an elderly lady started talking to us in Japanese.....I caught a couple of words, but still couldn't understand the meaning of what she was trying to convey. She was pleasant though. My coworker, Sara, and I smiled and nodded. The lady started gesturing with her hands and pointing upward....I thought she was trying to say what a beautiful day it was....again, I just smiled and nodded. Out of nowhere, I heard her say, "wonderful, wonderful," in English, and I smiled and said yes, then I thought to myself, this is getting weird, so I turned toward Sara and started talking to her.
Ya know how when someone tries to get your attention and they tap you on the arm or shoulder? Well, with no warning this lady, doesn't just tap me, but kinda caresses/grabs my right breast....I backed away stunned with my mouth wide open...then she reached for Sara's breast....I turned around still in shock with my mouth open and the people behind me are crackin' up and the man behind her is laughing....I was like, "Oh my gosh...I've just been violated by a great grandmother!" Sara was like, let's go...there's was no point in talking to her because she wouldn't be able to understand me. Now, I know I'm well endowed, but c'mon, that doesn't mean that you have to cop a feel.....I'm still in shock about it. Later on that night, something else happened, but I forgot....I guess it wasn't that important.
On another note, I saw Spider Man 3 today...it's a must see....Spidey's back...
....until next blog,
K
