My life in Japan

Name:
Location: Chigasaki-shi, Kanagawa-ken, Japan

I'm a 32 year old SBF here in Japan teaching conversational english. One may ask, "What led to my decision to do this?" I would say that a variety of factors played a role in my decision, but I'm glad I made it. I'm a black girl found.....

April 26, 2007-Thursday

Well....yesterday I went to a restaurant chain called, "Doma-Doma." They sell a lot of small dishes there at a reasonable price...anyway, I was with a friend of mine, when she showed me the menu...she was like they have chitterlings here...I was like, no way.....yes they had chitterlings.....I just wouldn't think Japan would serve chitterlings.....we were like, "Heck naw......" I just got a little kick out of that.

Tonight I have my gospel group practice in Shinjuku....speaking of Shinjuku, I need to go there early on to get my tickets for Kyoto....I'm going there next month.....I'm grateful that God has enabled me to travel more in coming to Japan. It's a beautiful day today....usually, or at least for my last couple of days off, it's always rained....it's now 12:50pm....I need to finish my laundry and then get ready for the day....

I just got finished reading this book, "Get Right...the games people play" by LaMoure....It had me completely hooked....I got in last night around 12:30am and stayed up till 6:00am to finish the book. Salina lent it to me to read.....it was full of drama....I liked the way the writer tied all of the stories in together.....some of it was a bit graphic for me, but overall the story was good....

Well, I need to get ready, so

.....until next blog,
