March 20, 2007-Tuesday

Well, there's not much to report as of late....I've gone to two birthday parties for fellow colleagues. Both of their birthdays are in March.....March rules...(lol)I'm debating if I'm going to have a party or not...if I do, it will probably be April 1st since my b-day is March 31st....I'll be out of the country from the 26th through the 30th, and the 31st will just be a rest day for me....I need to plan soon because I don't want it to be a last minute thing, but my dilema is location....the place I want to go to is closed on Sunday and besides that the people I want to invite, live and work soooooo far apart. So, I'll see....

Anyway, I have some random anecdotes that give me a chuckle every so often.....

1. I have a student who has a dog named, "DIE".....now the way it's spelled is crazy, but the way it's pronounced is basically the same, and that's what's crazier. Now, maybe she was joking with me, when she told me that, but just in case she wasn't, that's hilarious. I mean, every time she beckons her dog to come to her, she's like, "DIE, DIE....." LOL>>>>LOL "DIE, come here boy!!"

2. I would like to applaud all of the grandma ninjas of Japan....I have been to a couple of places and no where I have been, have I seen more aggresive elderly ladies. They are a trip. Now I say ninjas because, ninjas creep up on you when you're not looking. They come out of nowhere, and that's how many elderly ladies are here.....they come out of nowhere to get seats on the trains.....literally, before you can turn around to see if there's a seat, there's an elderly lady pushing someone over to get to the seat, and then at the next train stop, before the train stops, you can turn your head and no ones in the seat......straight up ninjas.....I want to learn how to do that, now you see me, now you don't.........(smile)
