I'm a 32 year old SBF here in Japan teaching conversational english. One may ask, "What led to my decision to do this?" I would say that a variety of factors played a role in my decision, but I'm glad I made it. I'm a black girl found.....

February 28, 2007-Wednesday-

Okay, so in one of my latest voice classes, "R. Dinero" asks me if I've seen any crazy people in Japan. My response was, "No, nothing or no one out of the ordinary aside from drunk people acting out of sorts." However, when I left work and went into the train station, I was minding my own business, waiting in line for the train like everyone else, when I heard, "AHHHHH,UHHHHH!AAAHHHHH!!!!" So, I turn around, and ergo...crazy person. So, this guy is walking in between people ducking and dodging and I just started laughing....now, mental illness is not a funny thing, but he was funny as h-e-(double hockey sticks)....so he gets on the train and people start moving away from him....I just stood where I was because you know, crazy people need love too....and that's all I have to say about that.

Moving on, I took my extensions/weave out last night into this morning....freedommmmmm! It really started bothering me...so I think that was about three weeks that I had it in my hair. I couldn't take it anymore. I called my sensei to postpone my Japanese lesson, and she agreed...thank God, because I really want to be consistent with this, so we're going to meet later on today and then hopefully I'll go to Karaoke later with a co-worker and staff member....Well, my brother is not going to walk for graduation until September, so I might just leave a little early prior to the end of my contract and come home and go to his graduation, or .....I don't know....I guess it depends on the date....Instead of coming home in May though to visit, it might be June or July now....., so I'll have to see. Anyway, I miss all you guys back home dearly, and I'll keep you posted with everything here.

.........until next blog,

K
