December 8th, 2006-Friday
Well, I fell literally for the third time tonight coming home from work...It was crazy, I even changed my shoes this time....I had took off my heels from earlier because I knew I would have to stand on the train for about an hour....so I make it to my home train station, and go up the steps, as soon as I hit the last step and turn right, I fall, (SPLAT!!!), and once again, no one flinches....I got a laugh or two from a couple of teenagers....I was like, YES, finally some emotion, even if it was at my expense....Truth be told, if it were me that saw someone fall, I would laugh, and make sure they were ok....but anyway moving on......
Wednesday was my roomate's B-day, so both of my roomates, I, and some others met out in Roppongi and went to club Vanilla....it definately wasn't as packed as it was the last time, and the music wasn't even all that this time, but I still had fun and she had a good time...that's all that really counted though....
On Thursday, I went to this open-mic session in Shibuya called Cozmos Cafe. It was typical open-mic, bohemian like club, and it was business as usual until this Japanese guy got on the stage, who called himself FAITH....he bussed out with a rendition of the song, "I'm Trading My Sorrows." Ya know the song that goes, "Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Lord Yes"....He sang it in half Japanese and half English....it was awesome....then, these rappers and singers got on stage and ripped hip hop and contemporary christian, and then neo-soul gospel....it was wonderful...God really knows where to place you and at the right moment. The host was a Black guy from the states....him and his wife, whose from Hotlanta ripped on the mic...they're missionaries here.... and yes I have the contact info....I was so happy to see Black missionaries, since it's such a rareity....they have a beautiful ministry together....and she said I had skills and annointing on the mic...that meant a lot coming from her because she can blow like no ones business.....she sang and her husband rapped....it was hot too.....I was dag, yall are seriously the truth, wow.....well it's 11:44pm here and I have to go to work in the morning so until next blog.....I'll have a picture of my roomates and I the night we went out next time.....

Well Kay, I won't comment on the fall because you really did get some emotion in the States. LOL
I just wanted to say that I am glad that you are finding your way. Obvisously I didn't get to do what I said so here's to this weekend and being able to type the longest "personal" e-mail to you. I loved the pic.
