December 4th, Monday-
Well, it's 11:44pm at night....I had my first Topic Voice class, yesterday....Voice is basically a conversational session that students sign up for....Students at every level can participate....It's my job as a teacher to make sure the conversation flows naturally and continually, however, the students should do most of the talking....I like it because I get to find out more about Japan and the culture....anyway, Topic Voice is two class lengths back to back, and it's for higher levels only....I didn't check the schedule, and wasn't aware that I had a Topic Voice on Sunday, so I went in there a little unprepared, but it worked out well....I learned about Geisha, and the significance of bowing, and Japanese Story Telling....I really liked it....next time I'll prayerfully be more prepared though....
I have another train story.....I've actually been having a couple of near misses with the train, in reference to just getting on it before the door shuts, but earlier was just amazing....Let me just say, that I'm glad I have my life. Ok, so I'm in Kamata trying to catch the train to Kawasaki, coming home....The alerting bell goes off, alerting you that the train is about to shut, and I get half-way in there...YES HALF WAY IN!!!!! The door shuts on me and my bag, and how about there are people in there right by the door that don't even flinch....I was like, dag, that's cold....I would have said something like, "Are you OK?" So I get in there, and manage to fight my way in, but now my bag is stuck in the door, so then the door budges a bit again and I force my bag in....I'm going to try and not rush in at the bell anymore unless I have somewhere to be in a hurry....Oh, I found a gym....a Gold's Gym, can you believe it? and I start taking classes for Japanese lessons later on this week.....so needless to say, all is well......I miss America, however I'm glad I'm here....until next blog....Oh....I wrote a poem earlier...I was in one of those introspective moods....I need a place that has open-mic so I can rip...this is still a work in progress, but here goes:

The Color of Love
The Color of Love is all, it consists of all, and consumes all,
is needed by all, and shows up in all
even but for a minute, a second, a milli-second
Love is life, life is love, love is freedom without strife
It's true fulfillment on another level,
no longer bound by the devil.
The Color of Love is the color of the abyss, it's infinate
an everlasting fountain of water flowing intimate - ly
continually, simply, steadily, without presumption
It just Is.
Yes it is what it is,
a noun of beauty, an adjective of obscurity, a verb of complexity
A word that has as many definitions as there are people on the planet.
Its color is all.
You don't have to seek love, It will seek you.
It will find you with a sunny day, a smile from a stranger,
an act of kindness on your behalf, a joke that makes you laugh
A cherished moment without physical touch....
Jesus is Love
.....until next blog
